Michael Hordern reading The Wind in the Willows

How could this beloved story get any better? Have the great Michael Hordern read it, that’s how. Every nuance, every subtlety, every lovely detail is treated with such attention as to bring it all to life in an irresistible way. I could listen to him reading anything at all and find it completely fascinating. This is such a delight!

A classic

I wanted to listen to this because Niel Hancock wrote that it as a major inspiration to his Circle of Loght series.

I think the book was excellent.

The narrator was great at telling the book and did the animals voices in a way to make you see the picture of what was happening in your head. It was also a good book to listen to while your going to sleep.

Read like a cozy lazy day

I really enjoyed the narration of this wonderful classic book. The narrator reminded me of a kind grandpa who was telling a bedtime story. It was wonderful and very relaxing and the story was really brought to life for me.
