The Best. Ever.

Move over favorite P&P! This offering is the best I've heard, hands down, plus I could picture them all as they were in the movie that Rosamund was in (playing Jane). I thought I was done with this book. Rosamund showed me otherwise. Austen's powers soar with this reading.

Delightful reading of a beloved novel

I have listened to this wonderful reading of one of my favorite novels, and my only true complaint is the irritating voice the narrator chose to adopt for some very minor characters. I can appreciate an artistic choice, but it was an absolute miss for me. Otherwise, in tone and temper, no faults.

To people everywhere about people anywhere. It remains one of those classic books that make it to the Top Ten of what goes with you to the deserted island with your solar panel, of course.

In this audio version it was possible to listen to Mrs. Bennet without cringing, and that's a remarkable feat.i

Love this version!

I'm sure I will listen again and again. I never tire of Jane Austen. The narrator did a wonderful job. I do love her accent.

I loved listening to this audio book, narrator was quite good and changes her voice to reflect the different characters.
