"Sense and Sensibility" is a novel by Jane Austen, and was her first published work when it appeared in 1811 under the pseudonym "A Lady". A work of romantic fiction, "Sense and Sensibility" is set in southwest England between 1792 and 1797 and portrays the life and loves of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. The novel follows the young ladies to their new home, a meagre cottage on a distant relative's property, where they experience love, romance and heartbreak.

Essence captured very well
I found that the reading of this book was excellent as the reader captures the essence of the characters and the times very well. The story comes across well as the reader is English so nothing is lost there too. I have alwasy enjoyed this story and will enjoy it more with this rendition. Well done!!!

Excellent!
I'd read this book twice, including once in a women's literature class. The strength of Austen's style is legendary. But listening to this reader made the book even more enjoyable. Her pacing and expression were spot-on for me. I'll look for her again on other titles.

Flawless narration of a classic
I’m already partial to the story, so the narration was a bonus. I liked how the different voices were tastefully done, without gratuitous theatrics for Mrs. Bennett, for example. The subtle wit of Mr. Bennett, and the combination of obsequiousness and sanctimonious of Mr. Collins were perfectly preserved in the reading. I will be listening to this one again.

Excellent performance
I have enjoyed this book so much that I’ve listened to it countless times. The readers enchantment of this Austin work increases the pleasure of her brilliant writing. Hands down worth the price.

I have listened to this book so many times that I just needed a different voice. When I saw a version by Kate Reading I was thrilled! She is a wonderful performer

My favorite book
The best narration. The best book. I have listened to it about 10 times since I have bought this title.
What to be said about the author? Pure genius. What to be said about the narrator? Pure brilliance.
I do not only highly recommend, I consider it a must in every audiobook library.

Pride and Prejudice
Loved this book! I like the way she describes the landscape around her. Every one can relate to this book as we all struggle w with pride and prejudice.
