Sucked in!

This is my first time reading a book along with an audiobook. And, let me say, that it made Pride and Prejudice all the more enjoyable! I was engrossed in the story from the beginning and the audiobook made it 10x as enjoyable, with all the different voices and changes in pitch that are sometimes hard to imagine in older piece of literature. I loved it!

Self-destruction to Redemption

Would you consider the audio edition of Pride And Prejudice to be better than the print version?

Each has its charms.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Pride And Prejudice?

The cantankerous relationship between the characters is well thought out. The unfolding realizations of love and admiration is only seconded by the venom of the first misunderstandings laid out by Jane Austen.

What three words best describe Emma Messenger’s performance?

Smooth, constant and clear.

Who was the most memorable character of Pride And Prejudice and why?

Of course the lovers are memorable but I think Elizabeth's Father is very amiable indeed. His silliness in dealing with his house of cards and unruly women is all but forgotten as he grapples with the loss of his dearest daughter to a man he feels he owes more than he can ever repay.

Amazing for the 5th time

Love this book! there is such a sense of pure truth in this time period. though the language is at times hard to get through, its easily understood in the manner of writing, and description of scenes.
