Fantastic intro to business

I learnt a great deal from this book. Planning on buying a hard copy now for future reference. I'm sure I have plenty more to learn but this book points you in all the right directions so you waste less time. I feel closer than I ever have to creating the business I want for myself and my family.

This book summarizes principles of business in a condensed but effective form. It covers key principles and things you can relate to practically and not theoretically. Especially recommended to those planning on starting their own business.

Just skip the intro or breeze through it. I had thought of returning the book half way in the intro but once the first chapter starts it is quite good.

going for round two to catch what I missed the first time.

Gets stronger as it goes along

The first part is a bit dull but it certainly finishes strong. I think I would get the physical book if I were to do it again.

Great Book!! Really informative!

This is a really great book that you will definitely be able to apply right away!

Totally engaging...

Loved the narration and sound effects between sections. Book is well written. Narration is delivered with emotion and passion.
Some sections could have been expanded upon, but then it would have made for a very long book. Author provides book references for those instances. Offers a good balance between introducing a topic and explaining a topic in exhaustive detail.

Josh is a pleasure to listen to. He speaks clearly and concisely and provides great mental pictures of concepts to aid absorption and retention.

What did you like best about this story?

While the Personal MBA isn't a "story" per se, Josh interjects many mini stories and examples of how business/people concepts work and how they can apply to the listener.

Which character – as performed by Josh Kaufman – was your favorite?

Josh Kaufman is a great character himself. :) He eloquently explains the passion behind the Personal MBA as a project, book, and business, which comes through all of the concepts, making it an enjoyable read, listen, and follow up learning experience.

As a curator of business information, you get a lot more from Josh Kaufman than the content of the book. You get recommendations and resources for an indefinite, ongoing learning experience. Josh's work on the Personal MBA is extraordinary and well worth any time/money spent on it.

"The Personal MBA" is an art. Author's another book " The First 20 hours" is a science. Combining them is like 1+1= 11 ( not 2).
