Greats tips for improvements

It was a great read :)
A well worth listen and many good tips to take note off. As advised throughout the book, it needs several reads to master but already got quite a few tips to try for myself. It breaks down the person you have to be for selling more than the selling process in itself and if you fit the bill to excel in the world of sales. Felt a bit that it targets younger salespeople and people who still need to learn the ropes of climbing the ladder.

Great book and to the point!

I really enjoyed this book, it was to the point and very realistic. it was very helpful and helped me realize that I'm doing a pretty good job but I could still use some improvement with my sales. I will read this again.

Worthwhile

Overall I enjoyed this book. It’s easy to listen to and I could see myself revisiting it in the future. Made me think about several past situations both as a seller and as a customer and what tactics were most effective in those moments. There were a few things I did not agree with

Good not great

This book is pretty good. Has some suggestions I will implement, but it’s way too sales-y. He’s constantly pushing you to his site. Well I do audiobooks because I have a long commute, and popping over to his site so that I can feel like I got everything out of a book isn’t a safe or viable option for me.

Ignore most of the reviews about this book

I almost didn't download this book due to so many people complaining in the reviews, and I'm glad that I didn't listen to them. I expected a hard selling blow hard and was disappointed in that regard. Considering how old the book is, he was ahead of his time in many ways. I've got pages of notes and will be implementing a couple things right away and will likely be revisiting it in the future for my next takeaways. He does do somewhat annoying voices at times, but that's about it. The people complaining about him "selling you" nonstop are people who are complaining about him plugging different aspects of his website for other additional free stuff to help you improve or learn more about whatever he's talking about at the time. If you're listening to a sales book to get better at sales and you can't handle someone giving you even more ways to improve then I can't imagine how uncomfortable that person is at actually closing deals. If you're going to be in sales for the long haul, this is a book mostly about career oriented and long term development oriented ideals and not promises of fancily worded closes that'll 10x your close ratio. it's practical advice that'll slowly but surely make you a Dynamo.
