Email marketing might be the most misunderstood and screwed up part of small business marketing around.
And it's not their fault. Because most of what the email marketing experts and gurus tell you a) doesn't work; b) makes people not open your emails; c) doesn't work.
I learned the hard way. I've probably sent more crappy, unopened emails than anybody around. And back in the heyday, when people actually looked forward to getting emails, it was okay.
But then the economy tanked, email wasn't so glamorous, and I had to "learn" how to send emails and build relationships that worked. And what works is to a) tell stories; b) not sell so much and c) when you do sell, make a super compelling offer.

The content is very valuable. It's one of the best email marketing books I obtained. It's written to the point and the listener can directly put the advise into action.
I found this book to be a great primer for those with little knowledge of email or internet marketing. For an individual with moderate experience, this is a good refresher to stay on course.
This audiobook from Michael Rogan, as his entire series which I got addicted to lately, is extremely straight to the point and full of action an tips on EXACTLY what to do. It condenses everything within an hour and a half and it is pleasure to sit down, grab a pen and notebook and use it as a course on the given subject.
The short and at the same time complete format. His books are addicting, they make other books look bad because he gives you everything is a short and precise manner.
Yes, I have also listened to "Twitter Marketing That Doesn't Suck". Very good narration, very quality material.
It made me happy that I found it. I have been doing email marketing for quite a long time, but this book turned me on to so many new things, I literally took 6-7 pages of notes in only about an hour and a half. I was scared to miss a word, since it is so straight to the point.
I have read the top 5 books on email marketing available on audible. this is without a doubt the best one and it's not even close. This is the only book on email marketing you'll ever need.
