Bull didn't think it would happen again.
The Reapers were sent to rescue a woman. When they found her she was in bad shape. Her captors were the enemy MC as well as vicious and had left her close to death. Bull couldn't help but make a spur of the moment gesture that would have permanent consequences. He wasn't sorry.
She was glad to be rescued but wasn't sure if she was going to be in a better situation. She did feel safe with Bull. Why she didn't know. He stayed her protector while they searched for the man they wanted for what he'd done to their club and her.
I loved the story. However, I felt her condition made the speed of their physical relationship unbelievable. There are surprises and danger for them. It is a "page-turner" or in this case, listen and I recommend it.
