this is a really good series and I really enjoyed listening to it. it had a good plot and the narrator as usual did a great job.

Unpredictably enjoyable!

This book was an enjoyable listen. I did not want it to end so I listened to the final chapter twice! The narrator was impressive and made each character believable and distinctive. I read the trio of books in succession and throughly enjoyed each. I anxiously anticipate reading more from author, Laura Gail Black!

I Didn't Want It To End

This is one of my favorite series, and this book did not disappoint. Jenna, Keith, Rita, Matt, Tisha - all such relatable personalities with great chemistry. Oh, and I mustn't forget Eddie, Jenna's sweet rescue, and a new character who fits right into the mix.The dialogue is intelligent and often witty. My emotions ran the gamut in this one, including some laugh out loud moments. The plot is well written, and there are enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. I did not suspect the culprit unti just before the reveal. Jenna also gets some closure regarding her former legal troubles in Charlotte. There is only one downside and that is I must now wait for the next outing with Jenna and crew. I highly recommend this book.

I really love this series can't wait for the next book! I wish Hallmark would adapt this series into a Hallmark Mysteries television series. Very Very Very good

Best Story

This was the best book I have listened to all summer! I loved the story!

Just Perfect

This is the third book I’ve read and it has been a complete joy. Characters are interesting. I love Philly and Rita and am looking forward to hearing from them again in the next book. Sadly, I think it is the last book of this series. But that’s probably a good thing as it would become a bit weird for this girl to become involved in yet another murder in this small town. The stories are great and kept me guessing til almost the end. This one I did figure out, but wasn’t completely sure. I am a book lover, so this is set in a perfect place for me. The narrator does a great job on this and is able to distinguish voices for all the characters. I would recommend this to just about anyone for a good read.

Satisfying series

I found that this third book in the author’s trilogy, offered on audible, was very satisfying. I would highly recommend the entire three book series. The reader was great, the stories were interesting, and I really liked the main characters very much. Also, there was no gratuitous sex or rough language. There were even a few laugh out loud moments. Great series!
