This is a inspiring story of a Woman who has overcome so many trials and helps others!
She is a Wonderful Woman!
Does the current world look dark and hopless to you?
Read this book!
At a time when the whole world felt devastated, this amazing woman traveled it, encouraging all to believe in the awesome God she serves.
If you want to laugh, cry, learn and marvel at wonders, read this book!
One of the best books I have ever, ever, listened to and I have loved many books!!!
Don't miss it!
What an amazing story of a person 'proving' God in their life. Over and over, Corrie prayed, listened, and obeyed with incredible results. I will listen to this book again.
Thank you, Corrie, for teaching us with simple stories, how to turn to God in all circumstances. The lesson that unconfessed sins provide openings for spiritual attack was what I needed to hear today. Every day provides new chances to learn from the Lord if we ask to be taught.
I read and listened to both simultaneously, but do love the audio edition as it adds inflection and emotion.
There was so many! I think my most memorable moment was her sensitive ear to the Lord in his guiding her among the nations she visited.
When she spoke to prisoners in Africa.
Going out and telling all nations...
Being that it was a TRUE story it was inspiring , motivating and very faith building.
Corrie. Listening to how God moved in her life...how prayers were answered...and how "real" she was. It gave me a new spiritual excitement.
I loved her accent. She sounded very much a part of the story I was listening to.
All of it moved me!
If you are looking for a REAL God in a REAL world this is a book to help you find him.
The narrator had a very convincing accent, so I felt like I was listening to the real Corrie ten Boom.
I enjoyed hearing about how Corrie forgave the German prison guard from her concentration camp. She didn't know if she could forgive him, but when she began to shake his hand, she felt the ability to forgive.
Corrie was my favorite character, and I would like to listen to more of her books.
I enjoyed learning about how she left all her plans up to God. Waiting at border crossings provided a good opportunity to share God's goodness.
"Amazing woman relying on an amazing God!"
The stories that Corrie Ten Boom has to tell about her life after the war are only surpassed by her experiences in it told in her most famous book, the Hiding Place. A book that will encourage, inspire and bring a smile as you listen.
