A Testament of Courage

This first hand account of life in the West Bank and growing up among Hamas has been eye opening and has been one of the most incredible autobiographies I have ever experienced. I felt this deep in my heart and is my number one recommendation now.

Sad country

Very interesting to learn what it was like growing up and living in Gaza, being the son of Hamas. Very sad and horrible knowing that his father is one of the people who led this group that became such a dark and hateful organization. Not only is Hamas a dangerous terrorist group towards Israel but they are that way to their own people in Gaza. This terrorist organization attacked in the most heinous way innocent civilians on Oct. 7. And took -over 250 civilians as hostages.
It is so enlightening to hear how a bomb Hamas accidentally exploded killed their own people in Gaza but blamed it on Israel. Which is what they have done throughout the war. It’s truly horrible that man has interpreted their religion to suit their own selfish needs.
I pray that Mossab is doing well and has made a good life for himself in the United States. I’m sure it hurts him greatly to see what is going on now, in his homeland and around the world.

This story highlights how good can come from evil and by having the courage to go against the grain you can save thousands of lives. Unbelievable.

A view like no other

This is something that many only claim to understand. In our current world, there are many claims on both sides of the religion/political/moral side of this age old story. This book exposes the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all. It is Yousef’s story, but its lessons are for us all. There are many mentions of his journey to Christ, but do not let that stop you from listening. I think his message is one that should be heard regardless of your beliefs.
