For over 15 years, Jeremy Courtney has worked alongside local peacemakers in some of the world's most dangerous conflict zones. His "preemptive love" theory of change has taken him and his teammates to the frontlines of revolution and war in Fallujah, Mosul, Damascus, Aleppo, Cairo, Khartoum, and beyond to serve those in need and meet with top leaders, warlords, and terrorists about the rise and fall of peace. Jeremy speaks globally on the integration of activism, spirituality, leadership, and service. His work has been covered by CNN, the BBC, Al-Jazeera, and the New York Times. He lives in Iraq with his family. Courtney is one of the founders of HUMANITE, a collective of local peacemakers working around the world.
