Publisher's summary

Now she belongs to a Beast.

Montague thinks he has found a way around his curse by purchasing the indentured servant Daliyah to serve as his next meal and tumble. If his appetites should overwhelm her, it would be a pity, but, if need be, he would move on to his next victim. But his brother, Addison, threatens to upend Montague’s plans when he falls in love with the gentle maid.

Devastated that she now belongs to the Earl of Blackbourne, Daliyah finds comfort in the company of the kindly Mr. Addison Brooke. But when she discovers the truth behind his lordship’s darkness, can she escape before she succumbs to his thirst for blood and his desire for flesh?

If you like dark gothic romances, sink your fangs into Beauty and the Vampire, a twisted retelling of a timeless fairy tale.

Better than the first book.

I’m sure if they cut out several unnecessary chapters in the first book and added the second half, it would have been fine as a single volume. I’m not sure if this is the end or if the prequel even counts as part of the trilogy. The steamy parts don’t really start until the second book and the first book was pretty boring TBH. I’m not sure how close it is to Beauty and the Beast as with the outside/secondary characters..it doesn’t really read too similar in plot. Overall it was okay.

Book 3?

This book ended so abruptly that there must be another book coming in this series. Touched on some historical topics and definitely held my attention. The prequel does not allow for reviews so I will leave it here;; doesn’t get into the witch casting a spell on Montague, which is mind-boggling to me. This book doesn’t indicate for sure whether Daliyah was truly the cure to the spell, thus the reason there should be a Book 3. Narration was on point.
