Fun Cozy Mystery

This is the first book in a lighthearted, cozy mystery series. Although it's pretty easy to spot the villain early in the book, and the sheriff's crime-solving abilities are questionable, it was a fun read and I'm looking forward to spending more time reading about this quirky haunted hotel.

Great start to a new series

Love the humor, the clever way this story is wove. Mysteries remain to be answered I figure volumes. Thank you!

one-dimensional characters

The narration was goofy and hard to be patient with. The voice made the characters sound like simpletons. I couldn't finish, had to jettison and move on.

I am happy to see a new series from this author. loved this 1st book and can't wait fir the rest still to come in the series.

Charming, fun book

Light, fun mystery with an interesting cast of characters. Loved the performances. Easy to follow.

Good listen, only complaint with art.

I enjoyed the listen, especially the similarities to my situation. Sold our VA home with no new place acquired yet; will drive to FL in my Forester with my Golden Retriever to whom I talk as if she understands. My only complaint is that the cover art is not a Golden Retriever, it’s a Lab. Artist needs to see a Golden.

Pretty good

Be My Ghost is a pretty good cozy mystery with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I look forward to the next book.

Cute story

The story is very enjoyable but very predictable. The narrator may put you off. Her interpretation of men and people in positions of authority is downright grating. I’m trying to decide if I’m completely put off listening to the next in the series or if I should just read the book.

Like Eating Potato Chips -It Was Hard to Stop!

I loved this book. Listening to it was addictive to the point that I have not been very productive with other things. I sorta had a few hints on who the culprit might be but not expecting the entire ending as it unfolded. I hope there will be an audible for the next story Ms. Perry writes!
