Publisher's summary

“Cross one, cross all.” That’s the Brayshaw way.

She should have realized this before sliding into our world with secrets too big to bury. She didn’t, and now the target is on her back.

The day her lies came crashing down, I should have forced her out. Instead, I locked her in, and with the promise I would never be hers.

I resisted, fought against us. I caved. I tasted what became my newfound favorite flavor and fell hard for the little liar.

But then the depth of her treachery reveals itself, and with it a reminder.

Our town is a twisted place, and with truth comes trouble.

In the blink of an eye, my world is split at its core, and I’m faced with an impossible decision, one that leads to a single outcome: betrayal.

This is Captain Brayshaw's book and the fourth book in the Brayshaw series.

Love the Family Connection

Book 4 in the Brayshaw series, but it can be read as a standalone. I have really enjoyed this series and getting to be in their world. We learn more about Captain and Victoria and how intricate their world is.
.
Victoria lives at the Bray girls group home. She is fierce, strong and passionate with a heart of gold. She has had such a horrible upbringing that you just want to give her a hug! We learn what an amazing compassionate person she is.
.
Captain is strong, but guarded, logical, fierce and loyal to his core. He has a lot resting on his shoulders especially for his young age. With all that is going on, he doesn't have time or room for someone else in his heart.
.
There is just something about Victoria that draws and pulls Captain to her. He doesn't know what it is, but he wants more. Caps world is just starting to come together when Victoria's blind sided betrayal hits Cap hard. When he learns one of the major secrets she has been hiding, it derails him and she becomes his enemy. She moves in with the Brayshaw boys where they can keep an eye on her. After being hurt and betrayed by someone he thought he loved, he is brutal and very untrusting of Victoria causing him to be downright mean to her. My heart ached for her as she continued to deal with his backlash. She was always so selfless and kind, thinking of others. Cap does redeem himself and realizes what he has done. He definitely makes it up to Beauty. I absolutely loved how he called her Beauty. I just wish there was more of their relationship. I can't wait to see how all of their lives continue on in Royce's book! Charles Carr and Stella Bloom both did a good job.

Damn Cap

This one had me SO pissed off at Cap and so hurt for Vic. I almost threw my phone more times then not. Will Cap finally see or will he let Vic disappear?

Captain!

This book was all and more I could have asked for from Captain's book. Victoria is not who we thought she was. There is so much more to her. There are a lot of ups and downs along the way. I love the glimpses of Zoey who is such a cutie pie.

The narrators did an absolutely amazing job!

Little Blonde Brayshaw

This is book four of the Brayshaw Boys Series.
Captain and Victoria story. This book should not be read or listened to until 1-3 have been completed.

At the end of book 3 Reign of Brayshaw the Brayshaw tell Victoria she will be moving in with them. so in the beginning of this one it's where that takes place. Raven and Madman are now back. Captain see Victoria and when he gets to introduce Zoey to Victoria is where the story really starts and puts Captain and Victoria on thin ice to becoming enemies to lovers type of romance.

Charles Carr was the Narrator for Captain and he read all of his chapters. This is the first time I have listened to a story from him and I love his gravely voice. definitely a fan now.

Stella Bloom was the Narrator for Victoria and she read all of her chapters. I can never get enough of her whispery voice. and her male voice she does to say what the male characters are saying is amazing I could listen to a whole book just in that voice as the males.

Both of the Narrators played the characters very well.

Cray!

I was not prepared for this book. The teenage angst was a little overwhelming and the outcomes were a little predictable but there were so many other things that just came out of nowhere. I was so mad at Captain but I also get that he was an over protective father with trust issues. Can't wait for Royse's story.

Captain and Victoria; oh my heart.

This book was everything; I love Captain; have done from book one, so, finally, have his story and all the in your-face-twists, well, dam woman? I bow to your storytelling perfection.

I read this in one sitting, I could not put it down, the story of Victoria and the life she lived was so heartbreaking, and her involvement throughout was something that made me smile, she one sneaky girl! But the shocker of it all was her involvement with Captian daughter and everything that leads to that, I'm not going to spoil it because you need to read this to find out what? Which I promise will have you guessing until the very end.

Male narrator

I could have sworn this was the same male narrator from LJ Shen’s All Saints series starting with Vicious. Christian Rummel. Check your facts Audible

LOVE THIS SERIES

LOVE this series, with the twists & turns & surprises. I've read this series a few times now and still love them. I like how they all leave you on cliff-hangers so you literally pick off where you pick up in the next book. I like how its like a soap opera all on its own, it would make for a great TV series.

Perfection

I can't stop devouring this series now that I started...
Cap and Victoria get their story in this book, and it is one that will have you wondering what is going to happen next.
This book is one of my favorites of the series, and it may be because of my soft spot for Cap!

You get some twists and turns in this one that makes this story so good. I love the characters and their chance to tell their story.

The audio of this one is perfect. I loved the narrators and their voices for Cap and Victoria.

I want to be a Brayshaw

I listened all the way to the end because I just love this intense family full of secrets but I was so disappointed in the narration. Books 1-3 took some getting used to but once again I loved the books so much I dealt with it. But now Captain and Victoria ughh…both narrators did a horrible job voicing for the opposite gender.
