Pippa was decorated highly for her actions, including being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire and receiving the Légion d’Honneur in France. For years, Pippa kept her involvement in the war effort secret from everyone, including her family, but for the first time, her story can now be told in full.

I enjoyed the story I very much enjoyed how she set the story up by beginning with her youth and how she came to be the spy that she was.

Interesting story how this lady was a secret agent, jumped behind enemy lines and transmitted info.
Why did it take so long for her to get her jump wings? Loved the part how she never told her family what she did durring the war..good read.

Incredible courage

The first two chapters covered the author’s family background and her early life. At first, this section seemed overly granular. But I later realized this information was crucial to understanding what shaped her and how she was uniquely suited to be a British spy. You can’t help but be in awe of her intelligence and fortitude. Great read!
