Caroline Clapham isn’t a world renowned artist—she’s simply a farmer’s daughter possessed of natural talent with a paintbrush. Talent that her mentor, the Countess of Inglewood, is happy to foster for a summer at her beautiful seaside estate. Caroline wants to see the world and commit its beauties to canvas, but she fears that the season will end and she will return home as insignificant as ever. Publisher's summary
A managing beauty. A determined bachelor. A delightful romp!
When their elderly guardian dies, Faith Whitford is determined to set up house in Bath and look for respectable country gentlemen for her four sisters. She has no ambitions for mingling with the ton. What she did not expect was a new guardian, in the form of a London Beau to be appointed over them, nor that he would take any interest in their care.
Lord Westwood is London's most determined bachelor, and frequently finds himself bored with Society. When his beautiful new wards track him down at his hunting box, he decides to bring them out for amusement, anticipating the havoc their beauty will wreak upon the Beau Monde.
Instead of watching as a bystander, he finds he finds his own existence being turned upside down as he is lured into one thing after another by his charming wards . . . including the ultimate trap!

Penniless, Lady Julia St. Vincent has no choice but to dress as a man and accept a position as steward to the Duke of Dunscaby. The more time she spends with the duke, the more difficult it is to ignore the flickers of passion in her heart.

Lord Farnsworth would rather rot in debtor’s prison than sell the one place that feels like home to him—his mother’s manor. That is, until he meets the woman who wants to buy it. Sally Duncan is beautiful, intelligent, and as rich as a baron—a rich baron, not a cash-strapped one like Lord Farnsworth. She’s the solution to every one of his financial problems and is bewitching to boot. All he needs to do is sell her his beloved manor and then charm her to the altar, and the manor will be his again. Simple, right?

Not great but still good
I enjoy Elizabeth Johns' books....some more than others. Leap of Faith seems a bit weak. The characters don't jump out and make a strong statement. Alex Wyndham is my favorite narrator...hands down. Even his performance couldn't give life to the characters or to the lackluster story. As with all my books, I'll listen again....and possibly change my review.

I read the book and enjoyed it immensely, but listening to it on audible with Alex Wyndham at the helm made it perfection, he really makes the characters come alive. 💗💗💗
