Fantastic!
I was up all night listening to this. once I started I couldn't stop.
George Kuch is a long-time favorite narrator of mine. I'm a big fan. his narration brings stories to life.

Two year wait for book four!!
I listened to book three in the Max Bowman series in 2017. It was a two-year-long wait for this final book. That was an extremely long time when you consider how book three ended. I wanted so much to like this book because the first three just blew me away. Max went out with a whimper.
There were no take-no-prisoner moments with this listen. In fact, Max, the man that I fell in love with in the prior three books. was constantly getting knocked on his backside in this book. It was disheartening. Max still had his quirky sense of humor and it came across clearly with the narration, What he didn't have was oomph.
A lot of questions were answered and many storylines are concluded. This book was a very palatable conclusion to the series. I just wanted Max to go out with a bang. He did not.

I loved this book!George Kuchs dry wit brings Max Bowman to life!Max has been in a senior community.He gets ice cream every morning and that thrills him.One day he is told not to eat it and his old world starts to seep in.Wowzers! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
