Publisher's summary

In Dead Woman Walking, from master of suspense Sharon Bolton, the sole survivor of a hot-air balloon crash witnesses a murder as the balloon is falling.

Just before dawn in the hills near the Scottish border, a man murders a young woman. At the same time, a hot-air balloon crashes out of the sky. There's just one survivor. She's seen the killer's face - but he's also seen hers. And he won't rest until he's eliminated the only witness to his crime. Alone, scared, trusting no one, she's running to where she feels safe - but it could be the most dangerous place of all....

Dead woman walking

Great read. So many twists and turns. Great character development. I only wish the last chapter had a more detailed story about Bella meeting her son and forgiving her brother. Still I loved it. Wonderful book.

Her best

Have listened to all her English version books and proclaim this to be her best. In her other books her endings were the low point of the books, not so here.

A very richly weaved story.

The story and ending blew me away. The ending kept giving surprises to the listener/reader. I cannot say all the other reasons why I loved it without spoilers, and ther is such an unfolding of this story, it's best to experience it for yourself!! I did not find there was an over use of swear words at all, to address previous reviews, all languages used fit whomever was speaking at the time. Which brings me to the narrator, who did a fine job as well. Her voice transformed for each character she spoke for. Phenomenal story, and a magnificent listen.

Good story, hard to follow

Good story, but hard to follow in audible format. The story jumps around quite a bit making it easy to get lost. It all came together in the end though. I've read most of Sharon's books, easier to follow the story in print.

READ THIS BOOK‼️🙏

You need patience for this book. Not because it is slow! Because if you don’t focus, You find yourself rewinding a lot to comprehend just 10/ 15seconds of what is taking place. The story goes back-and-forth from present day to 20 years past, and in between. Just when you think you have figured out a certain situation, you are surprised to find you were wrong. If you find yourself at any time wanting to give up, DON’T‼️ you will regret not finishing. Enjoy🌴💦THOMAS in Sarasota, Florida 🌈
