Publisher's summary

The blushing bride. The handsome groom. A secret one of them will kill for....

It’s the day I’ve been dreaming about my whole life. As I glide down the flower-strewn aisle overlooking the Greek orange groves, in my pearl-encrusted ivory gown, I finally see my fiancé Nik. We look like the perfect couple, but not all fairy tales have happy endings....

Today is supposed to be the day of my dreams.

But I don’t see a single friend or family member. I’m surrounded by strangers.

I have been so excited to finally meet my fiancé’s family.

Then why do they turn their heads away as I walk down the aisle?

Now, as I say my vows, I gaze longingly into Nik’s eyes.

But instead of love, he looks through me, as if he can’t wait for this day to end....

And I suddenly have an awful feeling that I don’t know my fiancé at all.

But then again, he doesn’t truly know me either.

And by the time he finds out who I really am, it will be far too late.

There’s only room for one happily ever after on this wedding day, and I’m determined to make it mine....

Everything I love about a good mystery, exotic location and great storyline.

Loved it all. Ms. Watson can craft a great mystery without being redundant. Likely will listen again!

Absolutely brilliant

His story is fantastic and as you’re reading it, you can’t even imagine how it’s going to end and it keeps you guessing towards the end and you find out at the same time the main character does that something is wonky. I enjoyed reading this story.

Suspenseful and fast-paced

I like the author’s style. There’s an underlying sense of adventure that accompanies the suspense that keeps it from being too serious. I love the vivid description of the island of Corfu.

Loved it! Another British thriller!

No newcomer to these creative women, I anxiously looked forward to this listen. Twists and turns abound! Sue Watson and Tamsin Kennard are two of my faves and this proves why. Never a dull moment, these women complement each other as they skillfully come together with a suspenseful thriller that left me wanting more. Compelling, devious and intricate, the subplots are complexellent. Watson kicks this off with many suspicious characters that left me wondering throughout. From one to another, Kennard’s vocals rise to the top. You think you know the ending? Well think again… and again… and… {{{Jaw, meet the floor}}} Worth a treasured credit, I got it the day it was released. I often search by narrator and have found some hidden gems. I look forward to more listening treasures from Kennard and Watson.

Highly recommended with 🍒🍒🍒 on top.

Sue Watson outdid herself with this thriller! So glad I ignored the reviews I read saying it was predictable. Definitely not predictable. It had me on the edge of my seat! So many twists, just like I like!!

Storyline

I really enjoyed this book overall and the performance was fantastic! Alice was the main character and she was very sweet and likable. There were a lot of surprise twists and turns, throughout the story and I did have a lot of it sorted out by the end, but not all. This book still delivered that OMG moment, that all readers are waiting for! Definitely recommend!

Loaded with exciting twists and suspense!

Sue Watson has done it again! She’s crafted a suspenseful thriller with twists you won’t see coming! The character development is excellent and Tamsin does an amazing job changing her voice for different characters. Bravo!

Incredibly Predictable

I knew immediately the “who done it” but kept listening based on other reviews of the “twists.” Let me save you a listen and tell you not to bother!

The narrator was extremely whiney too, so it made the story even harder to get through.
