International superstar Ricky Martin, who has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, opens up for the first time about memories of his early childhood, experiences in the famed boy band Menudo, struggles with his identity during the "Livin’ la Vida Loca" phenomenon, reflections on coming to terms with his sexuality, relationships that allowed him to embrace love, and life-changing decisions like devoting himself to helping children around the world and becoming a father. Me is an intimate memoir about the very liberating and spiritual journey of one of the most iconic pop-stars of our time.

This book is so much more than expected... just like this man is so much more than a hot, sexy and talented musician. Ricky Martin shares how his inside beauty matches his outside beauty.
I wouldn't know that since I haven't read the book
I found out a life story about Ricky Martin
I have many favorite scenes... I would say it's Three Girls. It made me cry!
Ups and Downs or Fame has it's secrets
I would suggest this book to whoever is a fan of Ricky Martin as well as anybody who thinks fame is always a glory
Wonderful to hear the human side of Ricky. When I listened to your story, I felt peace and calm; it's like listening to an old friend tell you their story and laughing and crying with them. I think it's comforting to know we are different, yet very similar in our struggles and life's journey. It is clear Ricky is very passionate about work, love, and life; thank you for sharing. Verdadero inspiração para nos todos. Obrigada :)
Ricky is a very passionate, loving person willing to share his life. I felt a calm when listening to his story.
One of the funniest parts I felt was when he was going to get his hair cut and was on the phone telling his superior his intention. That made me laugh :)
Several: the story about the sick little girl and Ricky's work was very moving. As a parent, I was moved by your sharing your feelings on becoming a father. It is so powerful and there is nothing else like it in this world; I too feel very fortunate to be a parent and I believe it is the most important thing I will do in this life.
Although Ricky Martin seems to have the capability to write well there was too much about his ideals and not enough story to keep you interested. Much of the book was repetitive and at times was a little preachy.
No. The Patti LuPone biography was extremely interesting and informative.
I thought that Jonathon Davis was good and other than Ricky Martin himself would not change.
I read a lot of celebrity biographies. Its kinda my thing. I love them. Usually the books are full of interesting stories that allow you to peak into the celeb's personal life. Ricky Martin's book did this but it also seemed to drag on and on and on talking about the same things over and over and over again. Mainly Menudo! I mean we all know that's where Ricky's fame was first discovered and he will always be famous for his time in Menudo. But ever other paragraph in the book seemed to be about Menudo. Even things in the book that had nothing to do with singing and performing somehow seemed to lead back to Menudo.
UGH!! And here I am doing the exact same thing as the book. Going on and on about Menudo. LOL
So if you NEVER knew Ricky Martin was in Menudo then this is a really good audiobook to listen to.
I bought the hardcover book few omths ago for my friend, but I haven't got the chance to read it...until yesterday, I decided to buy the audiobook version,
After I finished the book, tears fell down my eyes...I don't know why...His words are so touching and compassionate. You can really feel the words he chose in every sentence or paragraphs are real and is not exagerated.
Much respect to Ricky!!!
The way Ricky explains his ideas, life and moments is so heart touching and beautiful.
If you are looking for book to inspire you and make you look at life in a different way, read this one!
I loved this book. it is a must read. I knew Ricky Martin when he was in the Menudo but I didn't follow his journey after that and to read all of the things he had to go thru to become the mam he is today was wonderful. I wish I could meet him, his story touched me.
