This is one of a series of six meditation recordings by Glenn Harrold and Ali Calderwood that are based upon the ancient Solfeggio musical scale. Each note in this scale has specific healing properties, and this recording uses the third note, which resonates to a frequency of 528hz.
This frequency works to heal broken DNA, healing on all levels - emotional, mental, spiritual and physical - bringing relief from anxiety, fatigue, and control issues. It helps to release negative thinking. Consistent use of this recording will help you to create miracles in your life.
This recording contains two meditations. The first you can use in the daytime, as it will guide you back to full waking consciousness at the end. The second will guide you into a deep sleep state at the end, which makes it ideal for using before you go to sleep at night. When you are instructed to repeat affirmations, connect with positive feelings (e.g. happiness, joy, love), this will help you absorb the suggestions on a deeper level. You don’t have to repeat the affirmations out loud, but do make a strong connection with them. You will be guided into a deep state of mental and physical relaxation, and it is recommended that you listen through headphones while lying or sitting somewhere comfortable where you won’t be disturbed. Listen every day, initially for 21 days and then as and when you wish. However, this is purely a guideline, and you can listen to the recordings as often as you like. It is important to remember that you are being guided, so you will always be in full control of the whole process. This powerful recording is a completely safe and effective way of helping you to clear away deep-rooted blocks on a cellular level and find peace.
About the Ancient Solfeggio Scale and Healing Sounds
Modern science is now beginning to recognise what the ancient mystics throughout time have been saying: that everything is in a constant state of vibration, and therefore everything that is vibrating has a sound (even if it’s not audible). Everything also has its own optimum rate of vibration, and this is called resonance. When we are in resonance, we are in balance and harmony with creation. Emotions and mental states also have their own optimum resonance, and with the recognition that every organ, and every cell, absorbs and emits sound, we can therefore understand how specific sounds and frequencies can be used as powerful healing tools. This is how the ancient Solfeggio frequencies work and is why the Gregorian monks used this specific scale for chanting and healing. These incredible tones each resonate to a specific frequency that our original blueprint is composed from. Exposing ourselves to these frequencies helps to bring our bodies, cells and DNA back into balance. Different parts of our bodies and organs all have specific frequencies of optimum resonance (perfect state of health), and therefore listening to these tones allows the body to absorb and remember (know) its original blueprint, moving it back towards its prefect state of alignment and resonance (health).
The music with this series of mediations has been specially crafted and precisely tuned to transmit each of the Solfeggio frequencies. By combining these sounds with a guided meditation, you also have the potential to release deep-rooted blockages. These compositions also contain an array of sacred instruments and sounds, such as crystal bowls and didgeridoo and sacred chants, which work to further enhance the effects of the Solfeggio tones.

ever since I learned about them; Quantum Physics tells us that everything is made up of energy; we are constantly vibrating. Therefore, using sound tones and vibrational healing actually makes sense to me on a Scientific level. I haven't seen much research about, but this audiobook helps me relax, and I can feel the music in my body. Is it healing me? Who knows?! But I sure do enjoy it :)
Glenn Harrold has a nice voice, and his vocal techniques really resonate with me in a positive way. I listen to this almost every night.
I LOVE books. And dogs & quilting & beading & volunteering.
I've been suffering from insomnia for the past few months, tried taking medication but hated the side effects.
I've done group guided meditations before but never bought a recording of one so this is my first experience..I found it VERY helpful.
Now I don't know if this will heal my 70 year old DNA or create any miracles but it DID help me fall asleep and when I awoke in the middle of the night-a frequent experience for me-I simply started it again on my iPad and fell back asleep.
The speakers voice is very British but this West Coast American found it soothing. The background music was smooth and non invasive.
I might buy the rest of the series just to have something different to help me sleep.
I recommend it for those who have difficulty going to or staying asleep.
I could sense the vibrations while still being able to focus on the narrative. I especially liked the narrative at the end.
I liked being able to visualize ridding of any dark spots on my body. I found that to be very effective
No. This is the kind of 'meditiation' that gives meditation a bad name: some sort of pseudo 'new-age' cliche that has nothing to do with real and useful meditation. The whole explanation about the frequency and 'healing' properties is non-sense and just 'snake-oil' talk
Be serious about the topic
It's hollow and cheesy and phony
extreme disappointment maybe but partially my fault as I should have pre-listened to the auido first
No I'm afraid I'd get tired of listening to him talking the whole time
The music is very nice and it is very relaxing. His voice would be ok but he talks too much. It needs more time without the voice. When I first got it I would fall right asleep so you may like it. If it had a track with less talking it would be better. It is worth it to try one of these. The second track lets you go to sleep. The first track (chapter) wakes you up again at the end.
I wanted to relax but this guy kept talking throughout most of the audio telling me to relax! All it did was make me anxious for him to shut up!
He kept talking!!! I bought it for the music not to hear anyone talking.
This is subjective but I didnt really like this book. I'm a musician and I though it was a little rediculous to believe that certain tones in the music alphabit can bring about relaxation and a change in your DNA.
I didn't like this mediation CD. The narrators voice is annoying and was anything but relaxing.
"Surprisingly Effective Results"
It is quite amazing how good the results are of this technique. I have tried alot of different relaxation, motivational and positive outlook techniques and therapies but this one really is unique in it ease of use, cost effectiveness and ultimately it works. I dont know how it works but it definitely does. It's good.
"Not a good voice for meditation"
The actual meditation was ok but I found it really hard to get past the narrator sounding like Danny Dyer so couldn't get into it properly.
If it was read by someone with a different voice!
Someone with a softer, less gravelly voice and less of an accent. Need to be much less distinctive. It should be about the meditation not getting stuck on the guys voice.
The meditation was good, but it was so hard to ignore the narrator I didn't enjoy it as much as I could and should have. Although it did make me laugh but fr the wrong reasons. Great voice, wrong subject.
Get someone else to narrate it!
"Hypnotism not meditation"
The reason I bought this book was out of curiosity about how meditation might work in this format. When you think about it audiobooks and meditation should go together really well, however this audiobook sounds more like hypnotism. And to keep it short, I would not buy another audio file from Glenn and Ali.
The few things that put it to shame in my books (sorry :D) are. The voice; I hate to sound sexist here but I would have preferred (and was expecting) a woman's voice. As calm and relaxing as the voice is, I would be more at ease going to sleep/relaxing to the sound of a woman :) .
The second thing was the more important; the music is great, and it has all meditative qualities I expecting however there is rarely a moment when its just the music and not the ever suggesting voice repeating things over and over (hypnotism). This leaves no space for the listener to fall into the music for their own experience.
Continually voicing over the music!!! I stopped listening half an hour through because I felt like hypnotism was more the main goal than guidance which was quite creepy.
I would cut the voice and listen to the music/sound effects.
Disappointing for my first experience with meditation. Like I said before it was more hypnotic that meditative which had the opposite effect on me ie; it made me quite uneasy. The images given where very good with the sound effects and music. I would say it could have been a lot better (for me at least) if it delivered the atmosphere and images (and maybe a hint of suggestion) and then let the music go uninterrupted.
"Cockney accent quite difficult to listen to"
There is something magical destroyed by such a harsh and unrefined cockney accent. Just couldn't get into this because of Glenn's voice - sorry
