Needs a Part 2

This is a great book for anyone thinking about getting into the accounting field.

Colleges are mainly focused on technical skills of accounting. This book augments it by reminding its reader of the other necessary fundamental skills that are often skipped over in classes.

It also points out valuable considerations such as specialized knowledge, which naturally leads to the question——which specific industry should I focus on?

The book is also a relatively quick read. I hope there a part two that goes into depth about the common issues most newer and mid-level accountants face.

It’s a valuable book overall and will hopefully give a newer reader a better understanding of how many opportunities exist in the accounting profession and how to build their skillset to take advantage of them.

Great Material, Rough Narration

The material was just the right balance of detail and brevity. I loved the authors practical yet optimistic demeanor. I’m glad I listened to this book. Only minor criticisms are very little is mentioned about self employment, or non traditional students. Narrator also left a lot to be desired. Overall: Definitely worth the listen.
