I didn't know this was me until..
I purchased this book because, years ago, I had read The Way They Learn, and loved her style of writing..I really understood her! Also, this title got me..I desperately want to be a woman of strength and purpose... I just couldn't seem to BE what I thought that was supposed to be, quiet, following meekly, keeping my thoughts and ideas to myself, and finding myself apologizing for it on the regular. I am almost 48 years old, and I just learned that I AM A STRONG WILLED WOMAN. and, I'm supposed to be. so very grateful for the clear teaching and instruction on this, how it taught how I'm to be me, yet His, obedient to Him, and also a trailblazer for Hm. Questioning is not.wrong; doing my own thing when He clearly said otherwise when I don't hear an answer is. Thankful for this book.

I bought this book to gain better insight into my 2 adult strong willed daughters, and 2 (at least!) strong willed grandchildren. I did not expect to see myself here too, yet there I was! Sooo insightful! Thank you, Ms. Tobias, for another home run! I just wish I had been able to read your books 34 years ago, upon the arrival of my first strong willed daughter!

wasn't even the book by Cynthia Tobias that I wanted originally. it the ones on learning styles and succeeding and Middle School Years to help the kids weren't in, so this hidden treasure intrigued me and has been well worth the time, inspiring z d tremendously hellhul!!

Left with more questions
I've always been a sww but I have so much pain and hurt that being a sww has never been benefiting. I'm combing through alot right now. I was listening to Cynthia speak on the radio and immediately bought this audiobook.
When I say I'm left with more questions I mean my eyes are open to a place with my strong-will that never knew it could be. When I heard Cynthia speak I cried I just couldn't help the truth from piercing my heart. Will listen to this many times this year.

love, love, love this Author. She totally gets me.
She totally gets it! I like how as A SWW shs knows the strength and weaknesses that we struggle with and has sound advice on both matters. I came from a family of these women and sometimes it is hard to be one.
