Christian romance

Good Christian romance book. Story is sad but happy ending. A little too much preaching for me but whatever helps you live a better life is ok with me!

Loved it! A good wholesome clean book. I love how the author imcludes scripture as well.

A Texan’s Promise. Book 1 of Heart of a Hero series

Excellent book. So completely refreshing to find a romance novel that is more like people actually lived in the late 1800 s. People who had faith in the Bible and learned to live by its teachings and how to live, care for and forgive each other when the time was right. There’s more than enough hard times and problems to keep the plot moving throughout the book. But most of all, it isn’t a continuous description of sexual encounters. Loved it. I will be reading the series.

A story of faith, and perseverance.

I enjoyed this book. a travel through lives searching for forgiveness. and purpose. through a terrible incident, people found strength and each other. I love a interesting early American story. I didn't want it to end.

Wonderful Page Turner!

This is a wonderful romantic, Christian novel. It's got just the right amount of adventure and drama. I especially love the endearments of the main character, Darling, Sweetheart, Precious, Sweetie. Recommended!

Really Enjoyed LIstening to this Story!

One of my favorite Shelley Gray (Shelley Shepard Gray) books that I have read numerous times over the years! This time I listened to the audio book version, which was very nicely done. I enjoyed the narrator and thought that she did a good job with the story.

Easy Read

Narration was a little over the top a couple of times but I didn't feel the need to stop reading for that reason.
I enjoyed the story, and the twist at the end. Didn't see that coming.
