Publisher's summary

In USA TODAY bestselling author Eva Leigh's final Last Chance Scoundrels novel, a young lady and her former betrothed get a second chance at love when they’re stranded at a remote country house…

After Dominic Kilburn left Lady Willa Ransom at the altar, she vowed never to reveal how badly she was hurt. Following a year abroad, Willa wants to move on with her life, so she accepts an invitation to a house party. She's determined to leave her humiliation behind, as well as the scorching attraction she still feels for the man who jilted her.

When dark secrets from his past surfaced right before his wedding, Dom knew he didn’t deserve Willa. So, he bolted. But he still burns for the only woman who ever claimed his heart. To escape the memories of all he lost, Dom heads to a friend’s estate on an isolated Scottish isle. Yet one of the other guests is the very woman who haunts his every thought and makes him wish for the impossible.

Thrown together by well-meaning family and friends, Willa and Dom try to resist the fiery pull between them. Soon the line between love and loathing begins to blur, and their attraction explodes. But Dom’s past lurks on the edge of their rekindled passion and Willa fears she’ll be devastated all over again. Can these star-crossed lovers find their happily ever after, or will everything detonate a second time?

I LOVE the clinch cover

A Rogue’s Rules for Seduction lived up to my expectations. It was the ending, him giving her the choice that tipped it over into a favorite read. They matched each other in every way. Mary Jane Wells did a phenomenal job as always!

BORING

Mary Jane, such wasted talent on this book.

The girl who was jilted by her mountain of a betrothed "with blood on his hands" are on a secluded island for a house party of the most boring. After a week of being shoved together by their relatives and friends, well, half way through the book and they haven't kissed yet. BORING.

Mary Jane Wells is the BEST reader out there. She's a true vocal actress. With so many dialects under her belt, her comedic expression and the best authors want her. This sad tale, is no Marrying Winterborne, no Duchess Deal, no Must Love Kilts, no Spindle Cove.

Half way through this book and there it's staying, I'm moving on.

Mary Jane Wells is a goddess

I barely made it through the other narrator to get to this book. MJW should re-record 1&2 and then I would give them another listen.

MJW WE LOVE YOU

Only got this audible because of MJW narration - she does not disappoint! The storyline was a bit predictable and anti-climactic to give out 4 stars and nearly not enough character development to give 5 but if you’re looking for the classic steamy regency genre story it won’t disappoint. I was a little confused when things turned a bit 50 shades of grey, felt like that kind of came out of no where but it was easy enough to get past. As always, MJW knocks it out of the park with the narration!

Great Novel!!!

You MUST read book 1 & 2 to fully appreciate Willa and Dom’s story. It’s a beautiful story that spans book 1 &2. You will LOVE this series! It says “steamy” in the description - so why ppl act offended at the sex is beyond me 🙄. What part of steamy is not understood. I feel like EL deserves more respect for her work…

Nope...not for me

Eva Leigh is a new author for me and I only bought this book because Mary Jane Wells is one of my very favorite narrators. Unfortunately it would take more than MJW to make this book more palatable. The premise of the story is good, but there was no energy in either the story or in the characters. IMHO Ms. Leigh's writing lacks maturity.....and there was just too much sex...or thinking about sex. Sex scenes should be like icing on the cake...enhancing....not overpowering.
