Interesting plot

Mystic Murder has a quirky cast of characters who the author weaves together to use paranormal abilities to solve a murder while trying to deal with family problems.

A Nice surprise

I'd never heard of this author or series before, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance! Grace Angelo is a fantastic protagonist, the supporting cast is loveable, as well, and the story is engaging.

A delightful cozy mystery

This short book is fast paced with wonderful characters and a satisfying story. I recommend!

Loved this book! Nice length, perfect amount of suspense and a very satisfying conclusion. I'm definitely planning to read the rest of the series.

Loved it.

This was a nice fun read. Grace. one of three witch sisters, helps the police as a consultant to solve a murder. The body was found in their bakery oven, I have never read any books in this series but this book was good. The book was well written and had fun lovable characters. I would definitely do more in this series. The narrator did great job with each character.

It was a good story that leaves you with a good feeling. The ending of “Who Done It” surprised me. Good suspense

Fun adventure

I very much enjoyed this book and look forward to checking out more from this author.

Glad others liked it

It just wasn’t for me. It sort of creeped me out that her cat and dog were named after her parents because they had their essence or spirit. I didn’t connect with any of the characters and found the oldest sister unpleasant at best. Not to mention her 40 years of mourning, which seemed extreme.

The magic isn’t what I expected and was somewhat disappointing as was the first person narration. It can be done well but not this one, I don’t particularly care for addressing the audience directly.

There wasn’t much to the mystery and I found the ending disappointing.

The narrator was okay, but somehow the voice didn’t match the main character and other characters, well some seemed to whisper. It also more of a monotone reading.

I’m giving 3 stars because overall, I think this just isn’t for me. It’s a short title, which in this case worked out. I doubt I’ll listen to any others in this series… there are better options out there.

Surprising good

I bought it because I liked the title, hoping for it to be nice, but it happened to be very good. Like the story and the magic sorrounding it. I will buy the other books in the series

New Series to Enjoy!

So happy to have found a new and original series of light mystery. Story well done narrator excellent and pland plot well laid out.. Look forward to the next in the series!
