Super cool!

A story action packed and characters that have depth such that they are more interesting than the bad guys.

Much more depth than expected.

Essentially a Hawkeye, Jessica Drew, & Black Widow POV of the events adapted from the comics. I enjoyed the novelization despite some of the changes, and really appreciated a greater depth to some of the characters. This is especially true for Black Widow, who we find after just defecting from the BW program. Good listen, the full cast really helps these comic stories pop. Loved it.

Not Bad for a Performance Piece

Pros: The voice actors were mostly quality casting choices; Iron Man and Hawkeye were particularly well done. Story moved quickly, though it is not directly adapted from the original comic run, and seems to have left segments of the novel out as well.

Cons: Distracting foley work for many sound effects took away from the narration. Russian accents seemed a bit overplayed.

Very confused by comic differences

The voice acting and music were great. I believe the accents were well done and the chemistry between the characters was felt. But the story…………

I have no clue why this was altered so drastically. I understand that movies need to be adapted sometimes to modernized things to be a bit more relatable and some things Cant be done because the budget would be in the trillions.

But this is reading and conveying the story, characters, and setting through words only, so why was the story touched? Wolverine and the Sentry were taking out of the book and Hawkeye and Black Widow were put in. Why?

Then Hawkeye is a Shield agent with no ties to the Avengers, yet during the story they mention that Scarlet Witch went nuts and decimated the Avengers. Well, during that huge ordeal, Hawkeye, who was a damn Avenger at the time, was famously killed during the madness. So if you’re gonna go the route of including the characters, how was that missed?

Why was it necessary to include Hawkeye and Black widow at all? And why force this love triangle into the story with Clint, Nat, and Jess to begin with? And you got rid of Wolverine as well as the Sentry!? The man was in a cell at the Raft and helped the heroes by flying Carnage into space and literally tearing him in half.

All of it seemed like an unnecessary maneuver. So while I enjoyed listening to the acting, I didn’t enjoy the story because the changes didn’t enhance it only made it disappointing.

Entertaining!

Lots of action, but Luke needed a little more screen time. Look forward to more Avengers stories.
