Publisher's summary

Little do they realize, they're falling in love on borrowed time.

Something is up with the shifters in Portland, Oregon. And if there's one person who's going to get to the bottom of it, it's Diana Paul. As the executive director of a center that offers all sorts of services to shifters, Diana is extremely protective of her clients. All except for one extremely annoying - extremely attractive - wolf shifter named Orion.

Orion is used to taking care of his siblings, he's been the protector who's been doing it his entire life. Maybe that's why Diana's take-no-prisoners attitude draws him in so quickly. She doesn't need anyone to take care of her, she kicks ass and takes names. Orion didn't even realize he was looking for a woman like her until he met her. Now, if only he convince her to date a client...

As Diana and Orion get closer and closer, they begin to notice the strange behavior of someone in their lives. Little do they realize, they're falling in love on borrowed time. There is something dangerous barreling toward Orion and his siblings and Diana might be the only one who can stop it.

This is the fifth book in the Forbidden Shifters series, but can also be listened as a stand-alone. No cliff-hangers. HEA guaranteed. Not intended for listeners under the age of 18.

Can he win her if he stops trying to win her?

So how can Orion finally get the sexy Diana to take him seriously? He has tried convincing her to be his mentor, mostly by rejecting all the other mentors assigned to him. He has texted her and called her at odd times. He has even tried pretending to smoke a cigarette underneath her office window, nothing seems to get him where he wants to be. When it is suggested to him that he try doing exactly what she wants, he is a little reluctant to try this hands-off approach but what does he have to lose?

I was given a copy of this audiobook by the author. My review is voluntary.

Orion

Orion was so pure and naive, that I just wanted to squeeze the stuffing out of him
Quill is grinding on my last nerve, and Dawn needs a good shake to wake her up to facts. Orion standing up and confronting Diana was awesome. The general is pure evil 😈 and it seems like he can't be eradicated!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
