Publisher's summary

When Erin discovers the Tipped Z, she meets a cowboy whose horsemanship takes her breath away. It begins when Erin encounters a cowboy in the street, early one morning. Mounted and wearing a hat, cloaked in a cloud of dust, he's driving a small herd of horses through her quiet desert neighborhood.

The sight of him lodges in her mind, reminding her of an old dream from her childhood. She decides to figure out where he came from. Erin's hunt leads her to the Tipped Z Ranch, where she signs up for riding lessons with a woman named Nora.

Soon, Erin is hooked. She enjoys Nora and adores the horses. But the cowboy she saw that first day is still around. He's Nora's brother Clint, and he's always at the edge of things - a distracting and watchful presence. Then, Clint asks to stand in as Erin's instructor for a day.

Erin goes in nervous, not knowing what to expect. Clint is a master horseman. She can't imagine why he'd be interested in spending time with someone who still has so much to learn.

A Man Who Rides can be listened to as a stand-alone novel, but it is the first book in the Tipped Z series. These novels combine horsemanship, family, love, and the Tucson desert into thoughtful, heart-warming listens.

Awesome

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A nice clean romance. That was one of the main reason for me wanting to listen to this book. The other reason is because I’m a cowgirl at heart. This book is hilarious, frustrating, and heart thumping! I listen to a lot of audio books with headphones one while I’m doing chores. So when I would get frustrated at something Erin would do I would start talking and chewing her out or telling her what to do and all the while my husband just looks at me and laughs. He has no idea what’s going on but I’m apparently entertaining.
Also having lived in Tucson for 17 years I know what it’s like to be stranded in your home and out of your home. To see the flood waters rushing and hear the rain pouring. While it’s no joke I love monsoon season. The desert doesn’t always get water but when it does it’s scary and beautiful.
I would recommend this country lovers and those that like a nice good clean romance novel. Loved it!

Poor choices

Not a good story… the main character was either drunk or making stupid choices. Poor decisions kept piling up until I just gave up finishing the story. This was supposed to be clean, and it might end up that way, but not because of good decisions.
