Endearing story lines

I enjoy Becky’s narration, it doesn’t distract from the characters she’s reading about. You can picture each character individually as she reads them

great books

I really enjoyed the story lines. I kind of expected some major twists, but there were none. By no means did it lessen the power of the story. The 3rd book hit home bc I'm from NC and live about 45 min from Ft Bragg. I lived in Central Texas for 5 years before moving back to NC.

Don't waste your credit on these books.

I was really looking forward to listening to Liz Isaacson's books after hearing her speak on a Kindle direct publishing webinar. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The character development of the three books is dreadfully lacking. I understand that these are written for a certain age group but good grief the character development is so thin & so transparent that you can't even get a good sense of why you're listening to the books. I only listened to them because I spent a credit on them. The narrator is so-so. By the third book every single voice sounds exactly the same and there is no differentiation between the characters. The incredibly superficial spirituality is just that. It's light & superficial. Either leave it out or develop it more thoroughly for a true Christian reader. I understand now why she can publish
