Publisher's summary

Our lives were forever changed…

I was living the dream until a misstep ended my career, and now I’m half the man I used to be. If I can’t fight fires, I don’t even know who I am. But my new occupational therapist is determined to help me figure it out.

Leighton is beautiful—inside and out. She’s also smart as a whip and believes in me even when I don’t believe in myself. Amazingly, the more time I spend with her and her adorable daughter, the more hopeful I become.

But falling in love with Leighton is a terrible idea, right? She’s still healing from the loss of her husband, and it’s her job to help me recover from my injury. We can’t blur these lines. If we do, we might end up even more broken than before.

Then again, Leighton has this way of making me feel like anything is possible. She makes me feel like we can be whole again. Together. If I can learn to love the new me, can she let herself love me back, even if it means risking her heart?

An inspirational story of healing and overcoming loss, A Half Made Whole is the first book in the Finding Home series. The book is a clean and wholesome romance with a dual POV.

What readers are saying:

"This book was about healing, loving, and knowing you are enough! This story was beautiful and at times I wished I could enter the book and hug the characters!"

"I enjoyed this book, I loved the characters, the storyline but most of all the human connection I felt while reading. I couldn’t put it down."

"This was a wonderful love story! The characters were so realistic, I felt like I had known them all my life. It was easy to love Leighton and Brexen, who had both lost so much."

"I couldn't put the book down and read the entire story without stopping."

"This is the most beautiful, thoughtful book I’ve read in a while."

Virtual voice is the worst…

I would give 0 stars for performance if I could. I couldn’t even get through the second chapter. I normally would shy away from virtual voice but really wanted to give the author a chance after reading something else of hers. I’m sure the story is probably fine but can we please just hire an actual person to record??!! Virtual voice totally misses the mark. Every. Single. Time.
