Publisher's summary

The Devil in Her Bed is the third audiobook in the stunning Devil You Know trilogy by USA Today best-selling author Kerrigan Byrne!

He lives in secret service to the Crown - a man of duty, deception, and an undeniable attraction to a woman who threatens to tear his whole world apart.

They call him the Devil of Dorset. He stands alone, a man of undeniable power. Moving in and out of shadows, back alleys and ballrooms, he is unstoppable and one of the Crown’s most dangerous weapons. However, when he sets his sights on the undeniably beautiful Countess of Mont Claire, Francesca Cavendish, he doesn’t realize that he has met a match like no other.

True love wears no disguise.

Francesca is a countess by day and stalks her prey- those responsible for the death of her family - by night. What she does not expect is to be thrown into the path of the devil himself, the Earl of Devlin. She has secrets of her own and he seems determined to lay them bare. Can her heart survive finding the love of her life and losing him when all is revealed?

Byrne and Perkins did it again

What an awesome book and narration. What a talent they both have and work together. I just loved this book. Truly worth the credit. Thank you for these treasures Kerrigan and Derek.

So much pain before the happy ending

Must be good because I wept through the last chapter. Though the two previous books are not necessary to enjoy or understand this one, the read is more fleshed out having done so. The relationship between the women was forged in the first book. Those youthful traumas and successes set these gals on their course. Good to know that one of those tragedies gets unraveled here in the end of the trilogy. This novel is removed from ballrooms and drawing rooms, so it feels a little Sherlock Holmes at times. The language is coarse in places, yet it feels necessary. The love scenes are well described, pretty graphic w/o being X-rated. As always in this genre some cheesy lines and contrived conveniences make one pause, but what fun…masks, run-away horses, evil villains, and the first telephones.

Fantastic!

I devour all books by Kerrigan Byrne. They are so wonderful. Narration by Derek Perkins is an absolute delight - he brings every character to life. Thank you

It was alright.

I really was eager to read the last book of the series.
However, I wasn’t as captivated by the storyline as I thought I would be. It got interesting towards the end though. Out of all three books, this is my least favorite. It was still worth the credit but was not as fabulous as the first twos. That being said Mr Perkins killed it as usual!! 🔥🔥

Wonderful series!

The only thing missing is more!!! all the characters are great,I love the female comradery! the men are sexy and alpha but the women take no prisoners, a needed change in the romance genre.

Very Sexy

Loved the intense passion! And this story line was raw! Well beyond your normal period piece love story! This series went out with a bang!

Wonderful series

I truly enjoyed this series. The characters, the suspense, and the steadfast affection of three women, brought together by the worst circumstances life has to offer. Well done 👍🏻 Kerrigan and well done 👍🏻 Derek.

The Perfect Finale!

I have said it before and I will say it again. Byrne and Perkins are a dynamite team.

On this third installment of the Devil You Know intrigue, love, SEX and a story that weaves through the lives of Alexandra, Cecilia and Francesca through years demonstrates how fierce and powerful women can be. You don't need to read all three stories as each main characters lives are revisited in the telling, however, I highly recommend you read. KB is a story teller like no other, her ability to come up with three entirely different stories and bring them together is enthralling.

DP could win an award for his narration. If there isn't an award for narration there definitely should be, he is the best!

Overall, these ladies are very different but represent what you might find in your own family, A smart, bookish sibling, another smart but plump sibling and the very athletic competitive sibling. They have become a family that none of them were able to experience as children and maintain their closeness in adult life. They also bring into this circle of friends men who love them and would support them through all trials.

I can only say that all three books are worth the credits and time investment in listening to them. You won't regret.

why aren't these books movies yet?

All due respect to Netflix's choice to make a series from the whatitshouse series of roms but you'll never have a series as engaging and empowering for women as Kerrigan Byrne's books. Francesca was the ass-kickingest of this Red Rogue series and probably my favorite. Great love story, fast-paced plot, and as always a great narrator in Derek Perkins.
