Story-lovers everywhere will enjoy this easy-to-read book of some of the greatest stories ever told! Kids love stories that include heroes and monsters and gods and magic. Modern comic books or Marvel movies have nothing on these stories that have been passed down to us through the centuries.

Why read and study Greek mythology? From these stories, kids can learn many important life lessons, like doing the right thing, noble rivalry, kindness, courage, respect for parents, and respect for law. The lessons can not only help kids become avid readers but also avid learners! And for us parents, we can learn a thing or two, too. I never paid much attention to Greek mythology when I was young, but these short stories have me fascinated as a 52-year-old mom and grandma. I look forward to reading this book to my grandkids and helping them develop a love of reading!

Enchanting

I love mythologies, and I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook. It was captivating and engaging. The narrator did a very good job of bringing the book to life. Perfect length to listen to. Highly recommend it for children and adults alike, whoever is interested in Greek mythologies.

Great Idea for Kids and Parents!!

When I first saw this title, I got excited, as I loved the stories of Greek mythology when I was a teen. This has such a great cover which drew me in too. But then I saw the subtitle that read "...to inspire kids of all ages," I got even more excited. As parents, we like to supplement our kid's education with as much content as they can ingest. Now that we have this book, we can add this to our list of classic educational resources. That said, we probably won't get into these until they're around 8. Even though the author has edited these classics for kids (what a great idea), our oldest (7) will probably need another year before he wants to hear them. But each parent (and child) is different; perhaps younger readers will enjoy them regardless. Oh...and I love that these are only 10 minutes long! Great concept, excellent narration, great book.

I absolutely love this book and highly recommend it to adults and children!!! I give it a 5+

A Truly Engaging Listen

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator is amazing! What a great way to listen to such a famous book. I listened to this book with my 11 and 9-year-old. Later, my 11-year-old said she really enjoyed it. This is bedtime story worthy and you will find yourself drawn and held captive by it. Grab a cup of tea and snuggle in.

Classical Literature at its best!! But shorter!

I enjoyed listening to these stories very much. To be honest I was surprised that the stories were read as entertaining, dramatic expressions that put you right in the midst of the story. I expected for text to be read without emotion and lifeless. That was NOT the case! The writing was exceptional and the narration even better with exceptional pronunciation. I loved hearing some of the classic parts of the stories that I read so many years ago, but there were extra things that I never heard of. The stories of Odysseus and of course one of my favorites, Achilles! If you like the classics and quality writing, you must not pass this book up!
