Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
A funny story about a guy who becomes a ferry man and helps souls cross over. Unfortunately he has to make a living somehow and ghost don't make a lot of money. In the meantime he is having problems with girls, ghost, skin walkers, soldiers and even mobsters. He never seems to get a break. It is not a book for deep thinking and some of the points of views are stereo typical but I enjoyed the story and will be getting the next one. The narrator was good, but dry and I can't help but think it would have been funnier if it had a different narrator. The story picks up the second half of the book. I happened to pick this up because a guy who likes Monster Hunter International recommended this book and was glad I read the reviewers other books.
I'm not into the bdsm stuff that is all the craze now, but I have to say it works if it is from both sides and in small amounts. Only one part towards the end that I felt could have been left out and I would have like the book better. Of course I love this series. This is not my favorite book in it, but it is still awesome. The book defiantly starts out with a hate/hate relationship. Thea Harrison has great character development and over time Aryal and Quentin come together perfectly. The Dragon Bound series is an immediate download for me. I have enjoyed the narrator, which is the same one as the rest of the series. Read in order for max enjoyment.
Okay my warning first. If you are squeamish about gay romances don't read this book. It is explicit. Now if you have read the other books you will have an idea about the sex details Tina Folsom goes into. Anyway if you like the other books and have no problem with gay romance novels then I recommend the story. Of course I recommend starting at the beginning with Samson's Lovely Mortal to get the full effect of the series, which are mostly romances with some fantasy. I enjoyed this book as much as all the other books and will continue with the series until the end. Narrator is good, he is the same narrator as the last book.
I'm proud to be a bookaholic...addicted, obsessed, passionate!!! My favorite way to relax & escape reality....
This is another one of my favorite PNR series when I'm looking for good humor and silliness. Yes, it's a bit raunchy and dysfunctional, but it's still a extremely fun read. This book is about Mitch (lion shifter) and Sissy Mae (wolf shifter) - both whom you meet in earlier books. Mitch is an undercover detective about to testify against a big mafia-type badboy. He discovers that an assasin has been hired to take him out. Sissy Mae is a good friend that helps him hide out for awhile. But one thing leads to another and they begin to realize that their feelings for one another run deeper than friendship. I also love the crazy dynamics of both the pack & pride families. The supporting characters are really the best part of the book . . . although the hot sex scenes are quite delicious as well. An fabulous book, I really did love the relationship between Mitch and Sissay. You wont regret reading this series. Mitch is my Fav in the Pride series with his sexiness!!! I wasn't over the top with the first book but it's pertinent to the character& world building to this series. I am soooooo glad I continued on with each book that Audible releases. These books have potential to make you snort, lol, grin goofy, smile, and possibly blush while fanning yourself from Mitch's extreme hotness:)
