Hi, I'm Richard Parks. I write fantasy books and short stories. I'm the author of the Yamada Monogatari series from Prime Books and The Laws of Power series, as well as several stand alones and more on the way. There's nothing else I'd rather do. I apologize for the first person bio, but ever since I started publishing(short stories in sf/f magazines) I've had to write a lot of these darn things, usually in third person so everyone could pretend it wasn't me doing it. Enough. For better or worse, this is me. My work's been finalists for both the World Fantasy and the Mythopoeic Awards for Adult (as in grown-up) Literature.
