José Antonio Lucero (Rota, 1988) is a teacher. With a degree in History and a Master's in Writing from the University of Seville, he publishes videos on history and teaching on "La cuna de Halicarnasso", one of the most followed educational YouTube channels in Spanish. In 2018 it was a finalist for the XXIII Ateneo Joven de Sevilla Novel Prize, in 2020 it was part of TVE's special programming during confinement, and in 2021 it published the novel "La vida en un momento" (Ediciones B) and the popularization book for historical children "Por qué los primeros emojis se escribían en arcilla y otros porqués de la historia" (B de Block). His novels reveal unknown facets of our recent history and rescue them from oblivion to give them the value they deserve. In his latest book, "La madrina de guerra" pays homage to the figure of the war godmother: grandmothers, mothers and daughters with a fundamental role in the Spanish Civil War.
