Johnathan Nash is a wildlife biologist and the author of: Preppers’ Guide to Surviving Off the Grid, Prepper’s Water Purification Survival Bible, and Solar Power Bible for Off the Grid and Hybrid Living. Johnathan has been featured on over 200 news stations including, NBC, CNN, Fox, ABC and many more. He has always been drawn to the outdoors, and a lifetime of hunting, fishing, and wilderness camping trips has instilled in him the value of being prepared. His professional life and love of the outdoors combine to give him a unique insight into survival, which is the backbone of his published work. Johnathan grew up camping and fishing in Montana and Tennessee, and acquired a thirst for survival knowledge at a young age. Although he has vast experience of working in and with nature, he is no stranger to urban living, and is passionate about making preparation and survival skills relevant to readers from rural, urban, and suburban communities alike. Johnathan has dedicated much time to researching self-sufficient survival under a variety of circumstances, and as such, has been able to prepare his own family for any potential disaster. With rising uncertainty in the world around us, he is now passionate about sharing his knowledge with others. Johnathan is happily married with three children. He has two Labrador retrievers, who love to accompany him on all his adventures. The three of them love trail walking, and have walked many of the great trails in the United States. Johnathan has even walked the whole of the Appalachian Trail… although his dogs were sadly unable to accompany him on this trip!
