Devale Ellis is a former NFL player turned actor. Currently, he is a series regular in the #1 cable television drama series, Tyler Perry's Sistas and star of his very own highly-rated, fan-favorite spinoff show, ZATIMA. He can be seen as the lead in the OWN holiday movie, A Christmas Fumble. Devale has had recurring roles on Will Packer's BIGGER, Netflix's Emmy-nominated series It's Bruno, a recurring guest star on AMC’s legal drama, 61st Street, in addition to guest starring roles in primetime hits such as NCIS: Los Angeles, The Equalizer, POWER, Everything's Trash and more. Devale is the creator of The Ellises social sitcom on YouTube and Facebook, and co-host of Webby award-winning podcast, Dead Ass with Khadeen & Devale, an iHeart radio podcast he hosts with his wife, Khadeen, with multiple sold out tours in New York, Philadelphia, DC, Atlanta, Texas, Los Angeles, Chicago and New Orleans. Recently, he co-authored a relationship book, We Over Me, with his wife Khadeen. Devale is a devoted husband to his wife of 12 years and a dedicated husband to their four children, Jackson, Kairo, Kaz and Dakota. He is passionate about community service and promotes academic excellence and high performance to student athletes in New York with is program, Prototype Athletics. Devale is a proud Brooklynite and currently lives in Georgia with his family.
