I have gone over to the dark side. I am now for Team Eric. Spoiler Alert: I am going with the belief that amnesia Eric is his original human nature. Sensual Viking Chivalry works for me. I must admit I love the bad Eric too. He is such a beautiful bad boy. I can't wait to find out what is going to happen to Jason on the full moon.

I am surprised to say this, but I think I love this series more than Twilight. I couldn't wait for more credits so I bought the rest of the series. This is a first for me. Try it, you'll like it.

I was always a fan of the Anne Rice Vampire Cronicles and for many years I have been hoping to find another vampire series that I would enjoy as much. I thought I had found it with this series but I was wrong. I enjoyed the first book a lot but each book has gotten a little worse. I am a third of the way through this book and I don't think I could be happier that my credits came today so I can move on to something else.(went with the new James Lee Burke) Sookie has becomes such a pig I can't take it anymore. Anytime she gets around a man that is even half way good looking she is so wet my Ipod is dripping. I don't know if the author is doing some sort of womans lib. thing or what but it is so disturbing to listen to her whine over whether she should screw this one or whack off that one. I cant take it. Why isn't Fabio on the cover of these books because that is what this series has become, second rate romance novels. I don't need chapter after chapter of sexual episodes and sexual tension. These are supposed to be mystery novels. Charlaine Harris isn't that very good of a writer to begin with but I hope she can get back to weaving a descent story in the next book. I am sure I will finish this book because I hate not finishing a book but I am in no rush. Don't get me wrong the sex scenes are very steamy and hot but that is not what I am looking for when I am listening at work. I think a lot of the guys in the machine shop I work at don't want to see me walking around with a "Stake" of my own. Hope she gets back to mystery end of the stories in the later books.

What action in this book. I love it. It has everything that I like in a book, action, romance, and humor.

Actually I rate it 4.5. I love Charlaine Harris and the Sookie Stackhouse series. Sookie is like a telepathic Ellie May with a bit more wisdom. Her inner dialogue is witty and fresh. The sexual enuendos are funny and reveal a normal, lusty young woman who just happens to get turned on by vampires. My only criticism is that the chemistry between Eric & Sookie is not as tender and intimate as the one between Bill & Sookie when they first began a relationship. I have read all of this series as well as the ones with Harper Connelly............looking forward to more of those!
