Visigothic

This is the first book in a major work of epic high fantasy. It is set in a mythical world called Midgard and follows the struggle of King Sigurd the Dragon Slayer to free his people from the yoke of bondage and the tyranny of evil sorcerers and the machinations of Loki. The story is populated with a multitude of wonderful characters, such as elves, wizards, dwarves, leprechauns, and dragons. It's a story of love and romance and chivalry.

Taking up where the first volume ended, Sigmund the Volsung and Eileza Andavarsdottir, young thirteen year old teenagers are still on their own, having run away from home in order to be together, and not be forced to marry others for the sake of political alliances. The Guardians of Midgard have come together and are moving their armies east to confront the tyranny of Hister's Midgard Empire. The queen is pregnant and the forces of the dark side are determined to slay both her and the child, for they know that the child is a messiah that will be their undoing.

Return now into the world of Midgard in the fifth installment of the incredible Visigothic saga by novelist and storyteller Jay P. Newcomb. With the downfall of Adawulf Hister and the fall of the evil Midgard Empire, the full extent of the wicked sorcerer’s atrocities is becoming apparent to all the good folk of the green lands.
