I have setup this series that includes the sci-fi version of my concept, as well as the non-fictional version that followed. After completing The Book to End All Books, I realized there had to be one more audiobook that describes the science behind my concept of creating a second sun in the sky by igniting the planet Jupiter using laser technology. We now know how to create a nuclear fusion reactor in the lab.
But by using this technology, as well as our new-fangled rocket ships made possible by Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, as well as NASA, ESA, etc, it is now a much closer reality that we can save our planet by taking our know-how into space and accomplishing something that has never been done by any other living things anywhere in the universe as far as we can tell. This event puts humanity on the astronomy maps of all other life forms around the galaxy if they are actually out there watching and measuring space as we are.
This is a completely original and new idea both in fiction and non-fiction as far as I can tell.
The follow-up audiobook, The Jupiter Sun: The Greatest Achievement in Human History, was published immediately after this one because I realized that the science that I had uncovered in this audiobook could be accomplished by humans, but it had to be moved up to a much faster schedule due to the urgent situation that we are in as a species. If we don't find a second source of free, clean, sustainable, renewable and infinite power and pipe it back to the Earth and Mars, all life on the Earth could be extinct due to our continued addiction to fossil fuels, the source of green house gases, and the destruction of our atmosphere.
There are risks, but if we remain on our present course of trusting the business and political leaders to save our bacon, we're all going to die. Therefore, the risk is much reduced if we rally around a concept like this and make it come true.
The intent is for the first audiobook, The Book to End All Books, is to inspire listeners to purchase the actual non-fiction version, where they will learn that it's not just science fiction, and that we can actually do this. We’re hopeful that Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, and other major influencers will take up the challenge since they already have aligned themselves with these issues.
There will be many critics who will not approve of the technology of unleashing this much power on the Earth as I have detailed here, but there's one over-riding argument that can be made in response to my critics, and that is that every step forward in our evolution as a civilization and as a species has been fraught with the nay-sayers and the critics who simply cannot accept change and who desire to remain stuck in the rut of accepted knowledge. Therefore, the more critics who come out of the darkness to pick this concept apart and to scoff or ridicule it, the better.
The other thing that should be remembered is that in the history of science, most of the time, the big advances come not from the intentional research that is done, but by the accidental discoveries that come along the way forward made by the pioneers.
The discovery of our own code of life, DNA, is one recent example. It is the DNA of this idea that I have laid out for all to see, and I encourage anyone with any knowledge of or predictive power for the future to get into the code and make any changes they may find useful.
