The stars are within reach as rival megacorporations DeCorp and EnerCon have made interstellar travel possible and space flight available to the masses. But, when an industrial accident inside DeCorp sets off a catastrophic chain of events, all of Earth is at risk. Meanwhile, Taft Guardia picked the right day to upgrade his ship when fellow pilot Kaytha Morrow arrived, needing his help investigating a cryptic message from her late aerospace engineer father.

On the run and gathering the evidence she needs, Luna is pushed to her limits.

After their daughter Luna gambled with the enemy, Taft, Kaytha, and a hobbled together resistance find themselves at a loss to fight back against the growing threat from the planet Kentaurus. With the former DeCorp factions now in league with the Kentauri military, there is seemingly nothing standing in their way of taking complete control of the colonized worlds.
