Daranii Justice Series

The war with the Daranii, instigated by Earth, was short and brutal. Outgunned by superior weapons, the obliteration of the military outpost on Jupiter’s moon, Io, ended with Earth’s unconditional surrender. Captain Jonathan Thomsin of the warship Excalibur was the only Captain of Earth’s combined forces to successfully destroy Daranii ships, not by confronting them, but with guerilla warfare. Outraged by Thomsin’s dishonorable tactics, the Daranii demand the captain as part of Earth’s reparations to Daran.

Acknowledged at last by the Governing Council, his life mating accepted, Jonathan Thomsin makes a home on Daran with his husband, Talin of the Warrior Order. He knows he will never see Earth or his family again and learns to live with that endless grief. Jon is ecstatic when the Daranii Council gives Jon permission to return to Earth for life-saving surgery and allows him to contact and stay with his family for six months. He will be healed in body, his grief left behind on Daran. Everything is possible, even peace between Daran and Earth.

Forced to leave Earth earlier than planned, Jon returns to a Daran that is on the verge of civil war. The threats to Jon escalate after news concerning his hybrid DNA is publicly released, bringing the conflict to the breaking point, his life held in the balance. Knowing he will be on "house arrest" again doesn’t soften its impact on Jon, and he chafes under his inability to help his life mate in any way.
