A bicyclist was struck and killed in Deptford, Gloucester County, Monday night. It happened around 9:30 p.m. on Delsea Drive, near Brenner Avenue. Chopper video shows the bicycle on its side on the shoulder of the road. Police haven't said yet what caused the crash. (Photo credit: SkyForce10)

An 18-year-old driver has been charged with fatally striking a bicyclist in Deptford Monday night. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said Iqrar Ahmed hit the victim along Delsea Drive around 8:30 p.m. and briefly stopped, thinking he had hit a rock or something else, but then continued driving home. Investigators said another driver initially hit the unidentified cyclist and knocked the victim into Ahmed’s path. That driver stayed on the scene.
