Simpson explains that because their offense is unique, early plays aim to both score and gather information by showing motions, shifts, empty, trips, and unbalanced looks to confirm defensive alignments, rotations, and player keys, revealing advantages and matchups. Chamberlain adds scripting can also create future scouting complexity while avoiding rigid adherence to long 15–20 play scripts that can ignore hot plays, rhythm, personnel groupings, or standout athletes.
