  • Toby Tarrant sits in and gets violent, skibidi explained, and Dom’s beauty assessment #509
    Aug 22 2025

    What’s your favourite water creature?

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast.

This week could have been one of the greatest weeks of radio ever. Until all of our guests cancelled… But that didn’t stop us from talking to some of the biggest names in entertainment! We’d already prepared questions for Mark Hamill, Dame Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan, so why not get some of our listeners to pretend to be the celebs and answer the questions?

As you may have seen in the Daily Star, Toby got into a spot of bother over the weekend when he accidentally hit someone with a golf ball. Once you find out who he hit and what they were doing at the time, you’ll understand why this story made national headlines…

Also, on the day that thousands of students were anxiously waiting to receive their GCSE results, we put Dom through a slightly different examination. Spoiler alert: he did NOT like the results.

You want more yummy yummy content? Chow down on THIS:

    • Toby finds out he’s divorced and dead
    • Dom gets a taste of power
    • We go highbrow with some ‘beautiful’ poetry

  • Jamie Carragher, Harriet Kemsley, and The Booze Agents #508
    Aug 15 2025

See you at the bungalow, Captain!

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast.

Ahead of the Premier League starting back up again, Jamie Carragher joined the team to talk about his predictions for the season. With Leeds being promoted into the league, and Liverpool reigning champions, Chris and Dom had quite a few questions for him!

Harriet Kemsley was the latest comedian to come on the show and share her advice for Dom, whose performance at the Rode Comedy Festival grows worryingly closer by the week. She told Dom that one of the best ways to prepare for a comedy gig is to write material. This may sound obvious, but then again this is Dom we’re talking about.

Instead of ‘who are you?’, this week we asked our mystery guest ‘what are you doing?’. Quite cruelly, Dom was the only one in the studio who didn’t know, which made for some fun (awkward) listening.

Also this week, we were introduced to Captain’s girlfriend, who turned out to be a little bit older than we were expecting… Plus, Dom explained how he stays cool at home with the help of a woman named Janine!

Oh, you’re still reading? Erm… ok… here’s some other stuff that’s in the podcast this week:

    • Chris’ farts have moved
    • Dom is confronted about his weather forecasting skills
    • Necker Island is off the cards

    Enjoy!

Alex Albon, Sara Pascoe, and Willy Tickle #507

Warning: this podcast is not suitable for listeners of the Scottish persuasion. Listener discretion is advised.

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast.

On the first day of his summer break, F1 driver Alex Albon sat down with the team to talk about how the season is going so far, and also revealed that he didn’t know how many gears his car has. Luckily, his boss wasn’t listening. Only joking, his boss was listening, and even messaged in.. Oops!

Sara Pascoe took some time out of her busy schedule to join us on the show, sharing some words of advice with Dom ahead of his upcoming set at the Rode Comedy Festival. We’ll have to wait and see if Dom takes any of that advice on board. Place your bets now…

Also this week, Willy Tickle met Da Boss. Plus, a listener sent in some traditional Scottish headwear, which obviously meant that everyone had to put it on and do a Scottish accent. Or at least I think that’s what they were doing.

But that, dear listener, is not all:

    • We crash the Uber app
    • Dom struggles with technology
    • Adam Brown can’t do radio

    Enjoy!

  • Biffy Clyro, Tim Minchin and The London Palladium #506
    Aug 1 2025

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week we were joined in the studio by Tim Minchin as well as the boys from Biffy Clyro. Unexpectedly, Chris had rather a nice surprise to tell Dom about!

The legendary Simon, James and Ben from Biffy Clyro came in. They spoke on their upcoming 10th studio album Futique and its accompanying 2026 European tour. The boys also reminisced on performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and Simon revealed a very unexpected recent purchase he made.

Tim Minchin, actor, musician and writer (among many other titles!), joined the team in the studio to talk about his new record Tim Minchin Time Machine. The album is a collection of songs he wrote in his 20s before his rise to fame, recorded in a studio for the first time. He also spoke about Matilda The Musical and how unbelievably talented the child actors for the theatre shows are.

It has been Dom’s dream to play The London Palladium for years now and I wonder if Chris’s surprise has anything to do with that? Hmm! You’ll have to listen to find out, won’t you? (Spoiler: it does have something to do with The London Palladium…)

It was a legendary week, listen out for these bangers:

    • The trust fund box at Wembley
    • Jordan North asks Chris for help
    • Dom’s nan’s Vienetta

    Enjoy!

  • Neil Warnock & Hidden Oasis Tickets in London #505
    Jul 25 2025

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week the team was all back together in the studio. We had four winners of VIP tickets to see the Kaiser Chiefs and gold dust tickets for Friday’s Oasis show at Wembley Stadium!

Football legend, Neil Warnock, came into the studio to talk about his upcoming live tour, where he tells exclusive stories from his 42 years in the managerial side of the football industry. His bowling story is too funny to miss!

Friday saw the team running X Marks The Spot, with listeners desperately trying to find a Tupperware box with a phone in it, hidden in a bush somewhere in London. One listener found the phone and called the studio winning Oasis tickets for Friday night’s gig!

We also caught up with comedian Jarred Christmas, aka Dom’s newest boss, as Dom is performing at Jarred’s event, the Rode Comedy Festival, where we discussed how Dom could fare back in the limelight!

If you like that radio goodness, then we have all this good stuff too!

    • Toby Tarrant’s barber experience
    • Dom’s two accents when growing up in Liverpool
    • Captain’s deck chair shirt

    Enjoy!

Did you know the team went to see Oasis?

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week, we saw two people win Oasis tickets, we did a broadcast from a listener's kitchen in Manchester and McFly bassist Dougie Poynter came onto the show.

The team was lucky enough to see Oasis live in Manchester on Wednesday night. After an unforgettable gig, they woke up and were back to the reality of early alarms, but this time doing the show in Radio X listener Liv’s house, just outside Heaton Park.

Dougie Poynter came into the studio on Tuesday to speak about Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters, a new TV show aimed at challenging misconceptions of sharks and raising awareness of ecosystem vulnerability. Dougie also chatted about the thrill he feels when performing on stage as part of McFly.

    But wait! There’s more!

  • Chris Tarrant, Danny Dyer and Johnny Vegas #503
    Jul 11 2025

Some say that Johnny Vegas is still in the studio to this day.

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. Toby was in for Chris this week, and it was a busy one, with four Stereophonics tickets to be won, multiple guests and a few games thrown in as well!

The legendary Chris Tarrant joined his son and our very own Toby Tarrant to talk about his new book: For The Love Of Bears. He spoke about the beauty the animals, as well as a few close calls he’s had with them over the years. The Tarrants also chatted about their love for cricket and theories as to why Toby is ginger.

Johnny Vegas came into the studio and was his usual chatty and comedic self! He told us about his new show on Quest: Johnny Vegas’ Little Shop Of Antiques, but spent most of the time cracking jokes and discussing cannibalism.

Danny Dyer and Ryan Sampson joined the team to chat about the new season of their show: Mr. Bigstuff. Dyer told us about how emotional he felt seeing Oasis live in Cardiff, and another impressive sight he managed to catch there.

Finally, Toby went on an accent journey across the UK where listeners sent in voice notes saying hello in their local dialect and the team played the montage of accents for all to hear.

Thankfully Chris is back on Monday, but until the, there's this:

    • Edible underwear
    • Album Avalanche
    • Mr Japan

    Enjoy!
