  • How We Can ”Live to Forgive” with Jason Romano, Author & Director of Media at Sports Spectrum
    Oct 13 2021

Jason has a personal story and testimony of forgiveness and what it looks like to forgive someone who has hurt you deeply. Jason was formerly a producer for ESPN and is currently the director of media for Sports Spectrum, and is also an author, speaker and host of the Sports Spectrum podcast.

Chances are that at some point in your life someone has hurt you or let you down, someone has done something that wounded you deeply, so what’s our response to the hurt and pain caused by others? What does the Bible call us to do when another person hurts us? The answer is easy, forgiveness. God calls us to forgive, and even though the answer is easy, living it out isn’t. Only by God’s power and grace are we able to forgive others. Only then can we truly forgive in the way God calls us to. You are going to hear Jason dive more into what scripture says about forgiveness and how his own personal story of forgiveness has taught him what forgiveness looks like and helped him point others to the freedom that forgiveness brings.

  • How Do We Face Trials with Host Kasey Lovell & Ben Lovell, Former DI Athletes
    Oct 6 2021

Today's episode is all about trials and how we face trials as athletes and believers, SO for this episode I’m bringing my husband Ben on to talk on this topic as we dive into scripture and take a look at James chapter 1 and what it says about how we should view and face trials in life. Every single one of us will face trials in life and it's not an IF we face trials, but WHEN we face trials, so I think it's important to look at how God calls us to face trials especially as athletes in the competitive and performance based atmosphere we're in.
