We are finally here, covering the most recent Super Mario Bros adaptation at time of release! And a movie which on YouTube seems to be untouchable and wildly popular, but in other circles... not so much. And this is more complicated than the dividing line being between fans and non-fans.

Today we discuss the 2023 smash-hit, Illumination's "The Super Mario Bros. Movie". We chat how this film came to be made, it's controversial cast, deleted character backstories and whether "Take on Me" fits in a Mario movie.
