  • Jingle All The Way w Ted Metrakas
    Mar 27 2026

Welcome to Holiday Capitalist Cronenberg Hell.

We discuss the harrowing tale of a father who turns into a product, as inspired by Ted's fantastic essay on this remarkably disturbing Christmas classic along with a review of Ahnohld's film career and his uniquely unhinged comedic jaunts. This conversation was incredibly fun and weird.

  • Blue Feathered Language w J David Osborne
    Mar 12 2026

JDO returns and we chat about the magpie's feathers, Martin Shaw and Paul Kingsnorth, the craft of writing and storytelling, story itself, the wisdom that comes with age, ideological capture, self-importance as a boon to good music and a bane to writing, and much more.

J David Osborne is a prolific independent author who treats his craft with an animistic respect, allowing agency for stories and the spirits who inspire them. His recent novel Berserker Club blends animism, pulp, humor, and sincerity into a hyper-violent yet contemplative page-turner and ties it all up with a shamanistic bow.

  • The Prisoner w Joe - Part Five
    Feb 25 2026

We return with part five in our four-part series covering the misunderstood genius of Patrick McGoohan's masterpiece series The Prisoner.

The final two episodes elicited many sidetracks and conversational digressions which was to be expected considering the potency found in these couple hours of footage. The final one of which caused riots on the streets of London and forced McGoohan to go into temporary hiding. He considered this the reaction he had hoped for. God bless him. Truly a hero.

Watch along with us for free.

An excellent interview with Patrick McGoohan
